Dr. McLemore enjoys caring for the eyes of military families and kama’aina, providing eye exams and eyewear for the entire family. Her new passion is treating the complicated and multi-factorial disease of dry eye. It is becoming prevalent in younger and younger patients due to screen & phone time. She has recently attended several dry conferences and is excited to share all of the new treatments available to relieve red, irritated, fatigued, watery and itchy eyes.

Dr. McLemore is prior active duty Navy and has experience working for several eye surgeons. She was Clinical Director at TLC Laser Eye Center specializing in LASIK and PRK evaluations. Dr. McLemore is involved in philanthropies Project Vision, Kokua Foundation and St. Jude’s. She enjoys tennis, outrigger paddling, pickelball, snorkeling, pilates & yoga.
Insurances accepted: Tricare Prime, Tricare Select, Tricare Prime Retired, HMSA PPO, Eyemed (local HMSA plans) & UHA. New to me: I’m in-network for FEP Blue Medical due to my HMSA credentialing, but am NOT credentialed with FEP Blue Vision. If you are a veteran using CCN (care in the community), you need to have your PCM put in a referral request that specifically mentions me as provider. I need to have the authorization before making the appointment. All other insurances, medicare plans and vision plans are out-of-network. You can opt to pay for your exam and get reimbursed from your insurance if I am not in-network, however you must confirm that with your insurance. Charges will be $109 for an annual eye health check/eyeglass prescription and retinal photo. Eye exam with contact lenses will be either $179 for spherical fits and $199 for astigmatism and multi-focal fits. Mahalo!
